Hop on board the Bågöferry and get vivid stories on a few and very special sailings in celebration of the boat ferry's 50th birthday.
While the ferry glides quietly across the Little Belt, from Assens towards Bågø, Museum Vestfyn tells funny and exciting stories about both the ferry, the importance of the ferry to the island community and thoughts about the ferry's future.
There is a ferry ride with tales every Monday in July departing from Assens at 13:00. On your trip to Bågø, Museum Vestfyn tells you — after that you have a short break at Bågø, where you can enjoy nature and buy refreshments at the kiosk. Soon after, the ferry sails back to Assens.
You may not buy food and drink on board - but in return, you are allowed to bring some catering for the trip. **
Maybe you guys are lucky to see guinea pigs and/or seals? Dogs are also welcome on board, on a leash or cage/bag.

**A little bit about Bågø: ** Bågø is a small island located in the Little Belt, about half an hour's sailing from Assens. Bågø can be windswept and sometimes has a harsh climate in winter, but an idyllic island when spring announces its arrival. There is plenty of nature that can give peace and harmony to the nature lover who can easily get several days to walk on Bågø.
