Chef's evening at the Sideboard

Come along to Kokkens Aften at Bäkestuen Assens, where the doors are opened with chef Mikkel Rimfort in the kitchen.
Mikkel Rimfort has his daily routine as deputy manager at Gl. Avernæs and loves to work with local produce. He has previously been a chef on the King's Ship, so there's plenty to look forward to.
The sideboard is as old as the grocer's farm - Plums Gaard - which the sideboard is located in
*The sideboard was originally a place where people from the catchment could buy a beer and a dram for their packed lunch when they were in town to shop. The sideboard is today the city's beer bar, offering a wide selection of all kinds of beers, wines and drinks in delicious surroundings. We have tried to maintain the cozy atmosphere and created a beer universe for all beer lovers, where quality, music and community are the focus. *

- 17.30: Welcome Cremant (1 glass)
- Appetizer: White asparagus with hand-peeled prawns and sauce mousselin.
- Main course: Fried white fish, white beans, bacon, cabbage and tomato.
- Dessert: Vanilla panacotta m. roasted white chocolate, strawberries and mint.

On Friday 11 July from 20:00 - 23:00 the talented band FLOTTENHEIMER visits the sideboard and plays beautiful music.
