In the area around Strandby and Haarby you will find one of Assens Municipality's newest and most atmospheric nature trails — the Valkyrie Trail.
Join us on a guided hike with nature guide Christian Heller, who will talk about everything from Vikings and wetlands to valkyries, plantain — and probably a few things that don't start with V.
The trip offers not only good stories, but also tastings: we enjoy a lunch meal with wild ingredients that we collect ourselves along the way.
Practical information
The walk is 10-15 kilometers long on different paths and roads so the leg clothes should be fairly in order.
